Being in a Community Group has been so meaningful in my life because no matter what happens, I have people to rely on who will pray with me and for my situation and give me advice founded on the Word of God. I've built such deep and lasting relationships with people who would not usually be in my circles and I'm so grateful for that!

Being part of a Community Group has been incredibly meaningful to my walk with Christ. I met some of my closest friends there, people I now consider family. Together, we don’t just read and study the Bible; we live it out by holding one another accountable and lifting each other up when one of us falls.

I am the type of person who loves to be busy and involved. When I retired, I was able to join in with many more prayer and community groups. The bonus, and what I love about that, is that I’m always learning daily about God because of the various topics we study in each of the Community Groups I’m in.  Also, it keeps me in the Word constantly. In a large church, it’s so important and a way to establish godly, Christ-centered, and lasting friendships with other believers who support you during difficult times with prayer and encouragement, and they rejoice in times of victory. I love our Community Groups and am grateful for each leader who enables believers like myself to learn more and grow in their walk with the Lord.

These groups have been an enormous blessing to our entire family. From our very first experience nearly 20 years ago, we made many close lifelong friends with people that became more like family to us. We've shared joys and sorrows and have been there for each other through all the highs and lows that life has thrown at us. It's important to make the effort to put yourself out there and join a community group and see what God has in store for you!
